The Stripper deck is woe-fully under-utilized by magicians.   Probably because often when you are doing card magic a group of lay people, some wise guy asks to look at the deck, and we all have to watch him take a card out, turn it end for end, and try to strip it out.  When this fails, he usually hands the deck back and realizes that you are a "real" magician.   :-)      But the fact that there are lay people out there who know about Stripper decks is really no reason to not use one.  Just use it in a smart way.  (Like switch it in right after that wise guy has put it to the test!)

Seriously, when used with some subtlety, this deck can be a killer secret weapon, and will fool a roomful of magicians, too.   But because it should be used sparingly and smartly, I recommend the Stripper deck only to experienced card workers who can put it to use when it will be most effective.  (The great thing about this deck is that you can use it as a regular deck, too, then add one more miracle using its secret gimmick!)

NOTE:  this Stripper deck from Loftus has all 52 cards and ONE joker.  They did not issue Stripper decks with two jokers.  Not sure why...   But this is how they were originally issued -- it is complete with one joker.

This is an older deck, issued by LOFTUS (under its "Empire Magic" label) in the first decade of the 2000's, but handles perfectly.  (It is from new-old ex-dealer inventory, so never previously owned or used).    It is in the old style Bicycle tuck case with the complete card back reproduced on the box -- not like the current tuck cases.
